BTS members RM and V have been discharged from their 18-month long mandatory military service on Tuesday, June 10 ahead of the K-pop boyband's reunion.

Two BTS members, Jimin and Jungkook, were discharged from South Korea’s military on Wednesday. Over a thousand fans gathered near the army base to welcome them. The excitement caused network overloads and loud cheers during their press conference.

Marking the end of a highly anticipated chapter, BTS members RM and V were officially discharged from their mandatory military service on the morning of June 10. Later, J-Hope gave them a warm and thoughtful welcome,

Just a few days left until the BTS members reunite. On Tuesday, members RM aka Kim Namjoon and V aka Kim Taehyung have been discharged from their military duties. The two made their first appearance before the press. Their pictures are now going viral on the internet.

BTS members Jimin and Jungkook completed their 18-month-long mandatory military service in South Korea on May 11. Out of the 7 idols - Jimin, Jungkook, V, RM, J-Hope, Jin, and Suga, six have returned from their training.

RM and V both enlisted in December 2023, with the former joining the military band while the latter in the military police. The two will be joining the already-discharged Jin and J-Hope, while Jimin and Jungkook will end their service on 11 June.
