NASA's top candidate for its still-open administrator position has been thrown under the bus by the Trump administration. As Ars Technica reports, the White House has pulled its nomination for billionaire fighter jet pilot-turned-SpaceX astronaut Jared Isaacman.

In response, Isaacman thanked Trump and the Senate, writing on X that he past six months were “enlightening and, honestly, a bit thrilling.”
