While the father has been arrested on charges of manslaughter and child abuse, an autopsy to determine the infant's exact cause of death is pending.

A 5-month-old baby is dead after an intoxicated father fell asleep on them, according to police in Northern California. Around 11:53 p.m. on Sunday, the Paradise Police Department, Cal Fire, and Butte EMS Personnel responded to the 800 block of Violet Way for a baby who wasn’t breathing.
