A 3-year-old boy died Monday of injuries suffered in a massive fireworks explosion on New Year’s Eve in Salt Lake, according to the Honolulu Police Department. He is the fourth person to die in the incident, which also injured around 24 others, many critically.

A series of explosions caused by fireworks in a residential area left more than two dozen people with burns and other injuries, officials said.
