A police pursuit in southwest Houston took a shocking turn Thursday night, resulting in the death of an innocent driver and the fleeing motorist fatally shooting himself. A man was shot and killed after forcing his way into his ex-girlfriend’s house in the middle of the night, Houston police say.

Police gave an update on the crash that happened at Fondren and West Bellfort. A 2-minute police chase ended with two lives lost.
