Israel has severely weakened Hamas and Hezbollah. Now it's going after another member of Iran's so-called axis of resistance: the Houthi rebels of Yemen.

The strikes come as Israelis endure continued rocket attacks from the Houthi militia in Yemen even as attacks from Hezbollah in Lebanon and Hamas in the Gaza Strip have diminished.

The Houthis have ramped up their attacks on Israel, while Israeli leader Benjamin Netanyahu says the fight against the militant group “is only getting started.”

Israel struck multiple targets in Yemen it said were controlled by Houthis, the last of the Iran-backed groups still fully engaged in the regional war that began 14 months ago.
