The registrations being done in the Chief Minister Mahila Samman Yojana will continue even after the code of conduct is imposed. These registrations will also be stopped as soon as the code of conduct is imposed.

The Delhi government further advised people of the national capital “not to fall prey to the false promises of this non-existent scheme as these are misleading and without any authority.”

Delhi Chief Minister Atishi announced the Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Yojana last week. It is a financial assistance scheme which will provide Rs 1,000 every month to women residents of Delhi. The application process will be online and is likely to be available on the Delhi governments edistrict website.

The scheme, which promised Rs 2,100 per month to women, was labelled as "fraudulent" by BJP leaders, who accused former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal of misleading the public with false promises. The Delhi Government's Women and Child Development Department clarified that the 'Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Yojana' has not been officially notified. The department warned against fraudulent activities collecting information in its name.
