Ten people charged with public order offences after London pro-Palestine protest - Thousands of demonstrators marched from a static rally in Whitehall to Trafalgar Square.

But 65 people were arrested on suspicion of ‘deliberately’ breaching conditions after breaking through protest barriers into Trafalgar Square to reach the BBC at Portland Place. Others were also arrested on suspicion of sexual assault, assaulting an emergency worker and displaying a swastika.

Eight people have been arrested at a pro-Palestine rally in central London, as hundreds gathered amid a heavy police presence.

Several thousand Pro-Palestinian supporters have taken part in a demonstration in central London. The rally - the latest UK protest organised by the Palestine Solidarity Campaign (PSC) since the war in Gaza began in 2023 - comes as Israel and Hamas agreed to a ceasefire and hostage release deal.
