Authorities converged along Highway 97 late Monday in a reinvigorated search for a Wenatchee father accused of killing his three daughters, whose bodies were found last week west of Leavenworth.

Through trees, trails, rocks and mountains, agencies in and out of Chelan County have descended on the area surrounding Blewett Pass in the Cascade Mountains as they try to capture a man suspected of suffocating his three children in a remote campground.

The manhunt for the suspected killer of three young Wenatchee girls expanded last week to include parts of the Methow Valley. Residents in remote areas were asked on Thursday (June 5) to lock their doors and turn on outside lights as precautions, while authorities searched for Travis Decker, 32.
