From the moment the Indianapolis Colts' season ended in January, it was pretty obvious to see who one of their best fits in the draft would be. Penn State's Tyler Warren was actually still playing after the Colts' season concluded,

The draft board fell into their laps. When the Bears took Michigan tight end Colston Loveland, a traditional tight end with a knack for stretching defenses down the field, the player the Colts have been trying to find at tight end since Jack Doyle's retirement was there for the taking.

The Colts liked both first-round tight ends, but Tyler Warren fit their vision for the position in a way that Colston Loveland couldn't match.
