The New York Liberty have gone 3-5 since Breanna Stewart went down with a leg injury back on July 26. Stewart exited in the first quarter against the Los Angeles Sparks, who won 101-99 in New York after Rickea Jackson's game-winning buzzer beater.

Rae Burrell also recorded nine points, two rebounds, one assist and one steal for Los Angeles in its second consecutive loss. She converted 3-of-7 field goal attempts, 2-of-2 free throw attempts and 1-of-2 free throw attempts.

The Liberty now hit the road and visit the Los Angeles Sparks as two-point favorites with a total of 175 points at FanDuel. The Sparks are fighting for their playoff lives and consequently playing much better lately, having won nine of their past 11 games.
