Elon Musk has signed on to a new construction project in Dubai that will connect the city with dozens of underground roads. Musk's The Boring Company, which is responsible for building a similar project in Las Vegas,

The United Arab Emirates' Artificial Intelligence Minister announced the project on a video interview with Musk during the World Governments Summit.

Despite a giant road network of six-lane highways criss-crossing Dubai, traffic jams are common in the fast-growing United Arab Emirates city of about 3.6 million people.
