Up-and-coming country music star Bailey Zimmerman apologized for being "too drunk" for his recent Crash My Playa performance.

Garth Hudson, the Band's virtuoso keyboardist and all-around musician who drew from a unique palette of sounds and styles to add a conversational touch to such rock standards as "Up on Cripple Creek," "The Weight" and "Rag Mama Rag," has died at age 87.

Three days after the performance, which went viral on social media thanks to the country star’s off-key singing, Zimmerman shared a video to Instagram admitting that while he was “embarrassed” by the situation, he’d been raised to “hit my problems head-on.”

Luke Bryan’s Crash My Playa music festival took place in Cancún, Mexico, last week (January 15-18), and Bailey Zimmerman’s set went viral for all the wrong reasons. Clips of the 24-year-old country star’s performance captured him singing off-key while also being visibly intoxicated.

Rising country music artist Bailey Zimmerman is scheduled to perform at the North Dakota State Fair this summer.

The "Rock and A Hard Place" hitmaker directly addressed the performance, telling fans, "I'm going to do everything in my power to make sure that this never happens ever again."
