Getting a contract extension done with quarterback Brock Purdy has to be the San Francisco 49ers' top offseason priority. Purdy put some pressure on the team during Monday's locker cleanout when he told reporters he was hoping for a new deal so he could report to OTAs.

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy hopes to have a contract extension done sooner than later, so he can be ready for a full offseason program. "I want to obviously get it done," Purdy told reporters. "If that's an opportunity to be able to get that done quick, that'd be great. Just so we can get back for phase one."
