It was thought that season 3 of Warzone and Black Ops 6 would be arriving later this month on March 20th, but last week the official Call of Duty X (formerly Twitter) account confirmed that it will instead be coming April 3rd. That's when you'll be able to jump back into Verdansk, too.

Ahead of this, Activision released a nostalgia-themed trailer set to "Unforgettable" by Nat King Cole. The CG trailer calls back to Warzone's earliest days, showing off some of the locations that are set to return. It ends with a soldier looking directly into the camera, with a tear streaming down his face as he smiles.

Activision has confirmed the release date for the return of original Verdansk map to Call of Duty: Warzone. Verdansk returns to the battle royale on April 3 alongside Season 3, Activision said alongside the following tease: “Get ready for the drop zones and familiar terrain that players loved, alongside new updates to explore.”
