Ohio State handed out rings commemorating last season’s national championship run during the spring game on Saturday afternoon. About two dozen former players gathered at midfield at Ohio Stadium for a brief ceremony at the end of the first quarter.

Julian Sayin and Lincoln Kienholz have been battling for the quarterback job, with freshman Tavien St. Clair behind them. Sayin entered the spring as the perceived front-runner, but coach Ryan Day described the competition last week as neck and neck.
