According to CHP, the toddler and an adult were standing near a food truck on the shoulder of Highway 33 when the toddler ran into the road.

A driver from Atwood has died after the vehicle rolled over and crashed into a dry canal in Grayson Tuesday, the California Highway Patrol said. According to CHP, emergency crews arrived at the crash scene on Frank Cox Road just west of Cox Road around 4:41 p.m. and found the 39-year-old driver near the car.
