“Resurrection” is the latest attempt to expand the “Dexter” world. Along with “New Blood,” Paramount recently launched the prequel series “Dexter: Original Sin” with Patrick Gibson in the lead role and with Hall providing voiceover narration.

Peter Dinklage ( Game of Thrones, The Toxic Avenger ) has officially joined the cast of the Showtime’s upcpoming series Dexter: Resurrection . Dinklage will join Michael C. Hall in the series, which will be a continuation of Dexter: New Blood set in the present day.

Dinklage, who is best known for his roles in “Game of Thrones” and “Avengers: Infinity War,” will join the “Dexter” follow-up as a series regular, joining cast members Michael C. Hall, Uma Thurman, David Zayas, James Remar and Jack Alcott.
