The New York Knicks are facing some pressure, with the team going 1-1 at home heading into Game 3 against the Detroit Pistons on Thursday night. For a Knicks team that's clearly the better squad, on paper, it's been a bit surprising to see the team struggle.

The Knicks invested a lot to provide Jalen Brunson with needed scoring help. But that supporting cast can’t, well, support if it never gets the ball.

While Brunson wears the blame, head coach Tom Thibodeau needs to get more creative to help diversify the Knicks' offense. Furthermore, New York needs to improve defensively and on the glass, leaning into more of an identity, which could be pivotal in them taking down the Pistons.
