Activists highlighted a range of issues, descending on the capital two days before President-elect Donald Trump returns to the White House.

Thousands of people from around the United States rallied in the nation’s capital for women’s reproductive rights and other causes they believe are under threat from the incoming Trump administration.

Protesters represented progressive views on causes, including immigration, climate change and abortion rights. The march was the successor of the "Women's March" that took place ahead of Trump's first inauguration.
