Tony Hawks Pro Skater announcement teased in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6's latest map
Tony Hawk himself previously revealed a Pro Skater 3+4 remake had been in the works at one point following the success of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2. However, plans were reportedly scuppered when Activision merged developer Vicarious Visions into Blizzard, turning it into support studio for the Diablo franchise and other Blizzard games.

The very first Tony Hawk's Pro Skater game was released by Activision in September 1999. Although the 25th anniversary has come and gone, Hawk revealed last year that he has been in contact with Activision about doing something to celebrate that quarter century milestone. Hawk later confirmed that the long-running franchise will continue.

Thanks to Charlie Intel, who posted on X, it looks like there’s a reference to the Tony Hawk line of games. In particular, the map that was recently added to Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Grind, features a date. That date also has a logo similar to what we would see from Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater title.
