NASCAR Hall of Famer Dale Earnhardt Jr., 10-time Grammy Award winner Chris Stapleton will field JRM entry in 2025 Daytona 500. Who's driving?

Daytona 500, Dale Earnhardt Jr. will have a car. JR Motorsports is partnering with Chris Stapleton to put Justin Allgaier in the show. Of course, the No. 40 car will have to earn its way in as an open car against the best of the best in NASCAR.

Ahead of the 67th annual Daytona 500 on February 16, the Great American Race will have a distinctive country music flavor in 2025. Chris Stapleton has just announced that he is partnering with Dale Earnhardt Jr.

The 67th Daytona 500 is scheduled for Feb. 16. It will be Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s Cup Series debut as a team owner. He's a two-time Daytona 500 winner.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. will be an owner at the Daytona 500 for the first time in 2025 with Justin Allgaier driving and Chris Stapleton sponsoring the car.

Justin Allgaier will attempt to qualify for the 2025 Daytona 500 driving the No. 40 Chevrolet Camaro owned by Dale Earnhardt Jr. Greg Ives — Earnhardt Jr.'s crew chief in the Cup Series from 2015 to 2017 — will serve as the crew chief for the team.
