Millwall goalkeeper Liam Roberts says he received abusive messages and threats for kicking Crystal Palace’s Jean-Philippe Mateta in the head last weekend.
After being kicked in the head, some Millwall fans chanted "let him die" towards Mateta as he received medical treatment which included oxygen. He was later transported to hospital, where he required 25 stitches.
Mateta will miss Saturday's Premier League game against Ipswich after requiring 25 stitches in a wound inflicted by Millwall's Liam Roberts.
