At last year's I/O conference, Google introduced AI Overviews, which have driven a major shift in Google search and in the internet's information environment at large. AI Mode promises an even deeper, more chatbot-like experience right in the search bar.

The Google Doodle is Alphabet's most valuable piece of real estate, and on Tuesday, the company used that space to promote "AI Mode," its latest AI search product.

Clicking on the animated Doodle takes users straight to AI Mode, which is Google’s chatbot-like tool designed to help answer more complex questions. It even comes with a share button, which isn’t typically part of Doodles.
