The same development team of Raven Software and Treyarch is making Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 which made Black Ops 6, but fear not, they’ve had longer than a year to turn it around. In fact, production of Call of Duty’s latest began at the exact same moment as last year’s release.

Activision showed off action-packed gameplay for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7’ ambitious campaign this week, featuring its globe-trotting maps and robotic enemies. The game is set in the near future of 2035, where humanity is devolving into paranoia amid a robotic takeover.

Being developed in partnership with Raven Software, “Unleash the future of Black Ops” is the game’s slogan, seemingly emphasizing that the series within a series will not conclude at 7. Campaign, multiplayer, and zombies are its core pillars, all of which are full-course meals in Black Ops 7.
