When it comes to the general manager and the Eagles, the only paradigm is that there is no paradigm. It’s a mistake to try to put Roseman into a theoretical box.

The latest example of that came Thursday night when the Eagles traded up a single pick to draft Alabama linebacker Jihaad Campbell with the 31st pick in the first round. The move was universally celebrated...and feared. Campbell is the first off-ball linebacker to be drafted by the team in the first round since 1979.

After years of successful drafts leaning in part on top 30 visits, the Philadelphia Eagles didn't select anyone based on those who reportedly came to town in pre-draft process.
