The worst part of the preseason hit the Los Angeles Chargers especially hard. The Chargers canceled their joint practice with the Los Angeles Rams, scheduled for Wednesday, as injuries mount for Jim Harbaugh's squad, Rams coach Sean McVay told reporters Sunday.

Chargers left tackle Rashawn Slater was carted off the practice field Wednesday with an apparent left leg injury.

The Los Angeles Chargers are moving forward without Rashawn Slater. The offensive lineman has been sidelined for the season due to a torn patellar tendon.
