Argentina may have already booked their place at the 2026 World Cup, but behind them, CONMEBOL World Cup qualifying has been quite a grind, with only three points separating second-placed Ecuador from sixth-placed Colombia.

Carlo Ancelotti, the legendary Italian tactician and former Real Madrid boss, is set to lead the Selecao for the first time when Brazil takes on Ecuador.

Ecuador takes on Brazil on Thursday at the Estadio Monumental Banco Pichincha in Guayaquil, with kickoff set for 6 p.m. ECT local time in Ecuador. That makes it an 8 p.m. BRT in Brazil, a 7 p.m. ET or 4 p.m. PT kickoff in the US and Canada, a 12 midnight BST start in the UK and a 1 a.m. AEST kickoff in Australia on Friday.
