AMD announced yesterday that it would be talking about more details for its next-generation GPUs on February 28 ahead of an "early March" launch, right around the same time that Nvidia is going live with the RTX 5070.

The $750 Nvidia RTX 5070 Ti is still set to release on Feb. 20, but the company’s product page now says the $550 RTX 5070 is coming on March 5 (seen via The Verge ). On Thursday, AMD shared that it will unveil the anticipated Radeon RX 9070 and RX 9070 XT on Feb.

Nvidia’s launch of the RTX 5080 and RTX 5090 offers another opportunity for AMD to win over customers. Not because those are bad GPUs – far from it – but because since their launch, they’ve been all-but impossible to get hold of, as stock sold out fast.
