Reactions are pouring in from both sides of the political aisle after Gov. JB Pritzker gave his State of the State address Wednesday afternoon.

Central Illinois lawmakers had mixed reactions to Gov. JB Pritzker’s State of the State and budget address. Some said they came to the Illinois House floor expecting more transparency about the budget and were disappointed by Pritzker’s focus on federal government and critique of Republican Party.

Gov. JB Pritzker took to the podium Wednesday for the annual State of the State address where he talked about the upcoming budget as well as other legislation. The two-term Democrat related how he’s working to cut out pharmacy benefit managers or PBMs,
