Some companies have been open about price hikes, but Amazon will not be one of them.A report from Punchbowl News on Tuesday cited a source who was familiar with the plan as saying that Amazon intended to make it known to shoppers exactly how much of a difference the tariffs are making to the price of items they want to buy.

Amazon said on Tuesday its low-cost Haul unit had considered listing import charges for goods in light of new U.S. tariffs but denied looking at such a plan for its main website, after the White House accused it of a hostile political act.
