King Frederik flew to the Arctic island as a display of unity against the backdrop of Trump's talk of taking over the territory.

Denmark's King Frederik on Monday pushed back by one day a visit to Greenland planned to underscore unity with the Danish territory in response to U.S. President Donald Trump's interest in taking over the huge Arctic island.

The King will arrive alongside Greenland Prime Minister Jens-Frederik Nielsen, who is returning after a three-day visit to Denmark
