The all NBA teams always seem to be 4 western conference players and LeBron James Is it just that Western organizations are just better organizations than the east? We hear a lot about how much better the West was back then than the East, but it certainly didn’t have variety. From 1999-2010, save for the 2006 Mavericks, it was basically the Lakers and Spurs every other year.

2008 NBA Playoffs Western Conference. All teams at least 50 wins. Realistically though, 2000s and early 2010s were just insane talent on the Western teams.
