Jul 6, 2016 · Shortly before 9:30 p.m. Fontana officers were flagged down and told of the shooting at Bill Martin Park in the 7800 block of Juniper Avenue, according to a Police Department news release. They found Albert Pena of Fontana suffering from multiple gunshot wounds on Juniper Avenue. Pena later died at a hospital, according to the news release.

Oct 8, 2012 · A man robbed a woman at a barbershop in Fontana on Oct. 5, according to the Fontana Police Department. At about 11 a.m., the 32-year-old victim was working at the shop when the suspect entered the store in the 11600 block of Cherry Avenue.

Mar 23, 2011 · An 18-year-old Fontana man was murdered in the western unincorporated area of Fontana on March 22, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department. The victim has been identified as Juan Macias Jr., the Sheriff's Department said. At 9:13 p.m., Fontana deputies responded to a call of shots heard in the area of Sequoia and Beech avenues.
